Organisation Bio

We are home to around 140 science and technology companies

Our vision for the campus is to see it grow over the next 10-20 years from the current 1500 people working on site to around 10,000 people.

Something that is very important to us is helping to inspire the next generation. We are very keen to help nurture and develop upcoming talent from our local schools, colleges and universities, which could be through a number of initiatives including apprenticeship schemes in areas likes engineering and computing, or graduate programmes.

If you live in the local area and are a student in one of the local schools or colleges, or have left Halton to study at a university elsewhere, we would love you to be part of our future!

You may have dreams of becoming a famous scientist working on exciting inventions just like Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking or a regular on our TV screens like Professor Brian Cox or Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock!? Maybe your IT skills could be used to work on the latest digital technologies -could you be the next Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook?

Or it could be that you work as part of a team of people helping to support the development of a new product or service and ensuring that the running of the business is successful.

We currently have around 1,500 people working on the campus not only in scientific, technology and business jobs, but also in an array of roles such as receptionists, office managers, customer service advisors, accountants, building managers, marketing assistants and personal assistants to name a few.

Sci-Tech Daresbury are very proud of the fantastic work that is happening here, we have a real sense of achievement knowing that we are home to so many innovative companies who are at the forefront of science, technology and the future!
And all of this is literally happening on your doorstep.
